It’s time for true confessions.

Lately I haven’t been taking care of myself as well as I should. I’ve been working too much, not sleeping enough and not doing my stress management activities as much as I normally do.

My business coach pointed out that I’ve been looking pretty tired and run down.

She was right.

MY NON-NEGOTIABLES HAVE SLIPPED

I’ve let my non-negotiables slip.  My morning mindset/spiritual time, workouts and family time have all fallen short.

I’ve been doing them, but rushing through without being present like I typically am.

The result?

I was starting to get crabby, irritable and my body felt like that of an old man.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE

Something needs to change. I can’t keep going like this.

It’s not fair to my family or my clients.

If I am not the best version of me, that affects how I interact with them.

So, I’m making some changes in my schedule to balance it back out.

My coach held up the mirror in order to get me to take action. Had she not, I would still be stuck in a rut.

Let’s face it. My schedule BROKE so I’m fixing it. Not just for my benefit, but for all the people in my life.

I want to be on my A-game. But if I burn myself out, that will not happen.
