What is Your Credit Score With Yourself and Others?

A person is pressing a button that says `` credit score ''.

Proverbs 10:9 says "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely."

Many transactions we enter into are based upon our 'credit score.' It is a measure of integrity which basically says when we borrow money we are good at paying it back.

What about our own personal "credit score?" The one that measures our integrity when it comes to our word and following through on what we say we will do.

People with a low "credit score" don't instill a lot of confidence in the world. The intention may be there, but the follow through and showing up is lacking.

I'm sure you know people like this. You can't count on them, can you? There's a measure of trust that is lacking from them.

You might say to yourself "that's not me" but in reality we all have done this to some degree.

Maybe we haven't broken promises to others but I can guarantee we have broken them to ourselves.

So in essence we lack integrity with ourselves.

I know. I hear your response.

"Not me, never"

What about those goals you said you were going to accomplish that you gave up on?

Things like...

Losing the weight and getting in shape.

Getting your finances in order.

Or...

Working on having a better marriage.

What happened to those?

I know. One excuse after the other.

The desire to create change and walk with integrity continually gets sidelined. As a result, you keep gaining weight, your finances are still a mess, and your marriage is struggling.

The good news is you can rebuild your "credit score" with yourself and with those around you.

Do you have some unfinished business with a fitness goal? Are you ready to invest in yourself and raise your score? Are you ready to walk securely with integrity?

As an added bonus, when you succeed in one area it spreads to other areas of your life. That's why I love fitness because it teaches you how to have integrity and follow through.

Let's go get it done. Let us help you work smarter, not harder and gain the success you deserve.

Dedicated to your goals,

A group of people are running a marathon on a city street.

Yesterday was the 40th running of the Twin Cities Marathon - The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America! If you are like me, you stop everything to take it all in. Marathon Day is one of my favorite days of the year! A happy place! So much goodness packed into one perfect fall day! And yesterday was no exception! 34 years ago my friend and I were curious. What is the marathon anyway? It was hard to visualize people running 26.2 miles from the Metrodome in Minneapolis to the Capitol in St. Paul. So without the assistance of Google maps, runner tracking apps or cell phones, we headed to St. Paul to "find the marathon." We rolled down our windows, drove up the Snelling Avenue hill and listened for people cheering. Sure enough we found it!

This is a sign that hung in my college football weight room. It meant a lot to me. It's what motivated me to put in extra work and ultimately become a scholarship athlete and starting offensive guard on the football team. It wasn't always like that though. My life could have been drastically different - and not for the better.
